We are committed to providing free, independent counselling services for anyone affected by the Disability Royal Commission
The Australian Government has provided funding to provide free, independent counselling services for anyone affected by the Disability Royal Commission (DRC).

Who the service is for?

• Individuals with disabilities who have suffered violence, abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
What the service provides:
• Professional trauma-informed counselling
• Biopsychosocial assessment
• Warm transfers to other support services if required
• information and referrals about other useful services
What you can expect:
• We are here to listen and support you
• We understand that everyone’s experience of trauma is unique, and everyone has different needs
• Our Team of counsellors focuses on your needs.

The Disability Royal Commission

The Royal Commission on Violence, Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation of People with Disability (DRC) was established on 4 April 2019 and will run for three years. It will look at ways to protect people with disabilities from experiencing violence, abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
